Carrie Maldonado got her degree in neuropsychology from the
University of British Columbia, and completed three PhD projects under
the direction of the former Head of Behavioral Sciences of Notre Dame
University.

This lead to her serving as Senior HR VP for a
large, multi-state construction company for about 10 years, followed by
another five leading HR in the Telecommunications sector, during which
time she obtained her SHRM and SPHR certifications, and served as an
Adjunct Professor in Organizational Behavior at Chapman University.

Carrie
launched her Leadership Consulting and Recruiting company (now Champion
Career Services) in 2014. She’s certified in DiSC, Culture Index.
Compensation Strategy, Resume Writing, Executive Coaching, Career
Coaching, and HR Ethics and has published 2 novels, a management
textbook, and a consulting manual in addition to multiple courses around
career search and entrepreneurship.

Carrie wholeheartedly partnered with Jesse Johnson / Champion Empire to form CCS, and to
lead People Strategy for the Empire.
